Texas Estate Construction is committed to delivering high-quality craftsmanship and professional construction services. Our warranty policy reflects our dedication to building projects that meet industry standards and provide long-term value to our clients.

The following warranty guidelines outline the general coverage provided for construction services performed by Texas Estate Construction. Specific warranty terms may vary depending on the project scope and will be defined in the written construction agreement executed between the client and Texas Estate Construction.

Workmanship Warranty

Texas Estate Construction provides a One-Year Craftsmanship Warranty on labor and installation performed directly by our company, unless otherwise stated in the project agreement.

This warranty applies to defects in workmanship resulting from improper installation performed by Texas Estate Construction under the original contract.

If a covered workmanship issue arises during the warranty period, our team will evaluate the issue and, if confirmed to be covered, will repair the affected area within a reasonable timeframe.


General Construction Coverage Categories

The following categories represent common services performed by Texas Estate Construction. Warranty coverage applies to installation workmanship performed by our team unless otherwise specified in the project contract.

General Labor & Installation

Covered by a 1-Year Workmanship Warranty.
This includes defects in installation resulting from workmanship performed by Texas Estate Construction.

Framing & Structural Work

Covered by a 1-Year Workmanship Warranty, unless otherwise specified in the project agreement.
Structural components are installed in accordance with applicable engineering specifications and local building codes.

Plumbing Installation

Covered by a 1-Year Workmanship Warranty.
Plumbing fixtures, valves, and components may carry separate manufacturer warranties.

Electrical Installation

Covered by a 1-Year Workmanship Warranty.
Electrical fixtures, lighting, and devices may be subject to manufacturer warranty coverage.

HVAC Installation

Covered by a 1-Year Workmanship Warranty for installation performed by Texas Estate Construction or its subcontractors.
Heating and cooling equipment typically carry manufacturer warranties that vary by brand and model.

Cabinet Installation

Covered by a 1-Year Workmanship Warranty.
Cabinet boxes, doors, drawer systems, and hardware may carry manufacturer warranties depending on the supplier.

Flooring Installation

Covered by a 1-Year Workmanship Warranty.
Flooring materials such as hardwood, tile, laminate, or engineered flooring may carry manufacturer warranties that vary by product.

Tile & Stone Installation

Covered by a 1-Year Workmanship Warranty.
Natural materials may experience minor movement, settling, or hairline cracking due to structural or environmental conditions.

Interior Trim & Carpentry

Covered by a 1-Year Workmanship Warranty.
Includes installation of baseboards, crown molding, interior doors, built-ins, shelving systems, and decorative millwork.

Exterior Siding & Trim

Covered by a 1-Year Workmanship Warranty.
Material warranties may vary depending on the siding product manufacturer.

Roofing Installation

Covered by a 1-Year Workmanship Warranty for installation.
Roofing materials typically carry manufacturer warranties that may range from 20 years to lifetime coverage depending on the product.

Stucco & Exterior Finish Systems

Covered by a 1-Year Workmanship Warranty.
Minor hairline cracks may occur over time due to natural structural settling or environmental conditions.

Painting & Finishes

Covered by a 1-Year Workmanship Warranty.
Normal wear, fading, or environmental exposure is not considered a workmanship defect.

Windows & Doors Installation

Covered by a 1-Year Workmanship Warranty.
Window and door products typically carry manufacturer warranties separate from installation.

Kitchen Remodeling

Covered by a 1-Year Workmanship Warranty for installation of cabinetry, tile, countertops, flooring, and finish carpentry performed under the project scope.

Bathroom Remodeling

Covered by a 1-Year Workmanship Warranty for installation of tile, vanities, plumbing fixtures, flooring, and finish components.

Outdoor Living Construction

Covered by a 1-Year Workmanship Warranty.
Includes installation of patios, pergolas, patio covers, outdoor kitchens, and related exterior structures. Natural weather exposure may affect exterior materials over time.


Manufacturer Material Warranties

Many materials and products installed during construction are covered by warranties provided directly by the manufacturer. These warranties vary depending on the product and manufacturer.

Examples include:

-roofing systems

-windows and doors

-cabinetry and hardware

-appliances

-flooring materials

-HVAC equipment

-plumbing fixtures

-lighting fixtures

Texas Estate Construction does not manufacture these products and therefore does not control the terms of manufacturer warranties. When available, warranty documentation will be provided to the homeowner upon project completion.


Conditions Not Covered

The Texas Estate Construction workmanship warranty applies only to defects resulting directly from improper installation performed under the original construction agreement. The warranty does not apply to conditions resulting from factors outside the control of Texas Estate Construction.

The following conditions are not covered under the workmanship warranty:

Normal Wear and Tear
Normal aging, wear, fading, and deterioration of materials resulting from regular use, environmental exposure, or passage of time.

Homeowner Neglect or Improper Use
Damage resulting from misuse, negligence, abuse, improper operation of installed systems, or failure to follow manufacturer care and maintenance guidelines.

Lack of Proper Maintenance
Failure by the homeowner to perform routine maintenance or recommended upkeep of installed materials, fixtures, systems, or exterior components.

Work Performed by Third Parties
Any modification, repair, or alteration performed by contractors, service providers, or individuals other than Texas Estate Construction after project completion.

Structural Movement or Settlement
Movement, shifting, cracking, or changes resulting from natural settling of structures, foundation movement, soil expansion or contraction, or other structural conditions beyond the control of the contractor.

Environmental and Weather Conditions
Damage caused by weather events or environmental conditions including but not limited to storms, wind, flooding, excessive moisture, temperature fluctuations, ground movement, or other acts of nature.

Natural Material Characteristics
Certain building materials naturally expand, contract, shrink, settle, or develop hairline cracking over time due to humidity, temperature, or structural movement. These natural characteristics are not considered workmanship defects.

Manufacturer Defects or Product Failures
Failures resulting from defective products, materials, appliances, fixtures, or equipment manufactured by third parties. These items may be subject to separate manufacturer warranties.

Pre-Existing Conditions
Issues related to structural deficiencies, concealed conditions, or building components that existed prior to the commencement of work and were not part of the contracted scope.

Mechanical System Failures
Failures related to plumbing fixtures, electrical devices, HVAC equipment, appliances, or other mechanical systems due to product defects, age, or manufacturer malfunction.

Surface Conditions and Minor Cosmetic Changes
Minor surface variations, shrinkage cracks, paint touch-ups, grout discoloration, caulking shrinkage, or similar cosmetic conditions that occur as part of normal building settlement and environmental exposure.


Homeowner Maintenance Responsibilities

Proper maintenance is essential to the long-term performance of construction materials and installed systems. The homeowner is responsible for maintaining the property and all installed improvements in accordance with industry standards and manufacturer recommendations.

Failure to properly maintain installed systems and materials may affect warranty coverage.

Homeowner maintenance responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Routine Care and Cleaning
Maintaining installed surfaces, cabinetry, flooring, countertops, tile, and finishes through appropriate cleaning methods and manufacturer-recommended care.

Sealants and Caulking
Monitoring and maintaining sealants, caulking, grout lines, and waterproofing systems, which may naturally shrink or deteriorate over time and require periodic maintenance.

Stone and Natural Materials
Periodic sealing and proper maintenance of natural stone, marble, quartzite, granite, and other porous materials in accordance with manufacturer or supplier recommendations.

Exterior Materials and Structures
Regular inspection and maintenance of exterior materials including siding, stucco, wood trim, outdoor structures, pergolas, patios, and other exterior elements exposed to weather.

Drainage and Water Management
Maintaining proper site drainage, gutters, downspouts, and landscaping to prevent water intrusion or accumulation near structural components.

Mechanical System Maintenance
Routine servicing of HVAC systems, plumbing fixtures, appliances, and other mechanical equipment according to manufacturer guidelines.

Environmental Protection
Maintaining appropriate humidity and climate conditions within the home to minimize expansion, contraction, or movement of building materials such as wood flooring, cabinetry, and millwork.

Prompt Reporting of Issues
Notifying Texas Estate Construction promptly if a potential workmanship issue is discovered during the warranty period. Delays in reporting may result in additional damage not covered under warranty.


Final Warranty Terms

The workmanship warranty provided by Texas Estate Construction is limited to the repair or correction of installation defects covered under the warranty period. The warranty does not extend to incidental or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of use, inconvenience, property damage, or related expenses.

All warranty determinations will be made following inspection and evaluation by Texas Estate Construction.

This page provides a general overview of typical warranty coverage. The official warranty terms governing any project are defined in the written construction agreement executed between the homeowner and Texas Estate Construction.

Where differences exist between this page and the signed contract, the contract terms shall govern.


Warranty Claim Procedure

If a homeowner believes an issue falls under warranty coverage, the following process should be followed:

1. Submit a written warranty request to Texas Estate Construction describing the issue.

2. Provide photographs and relevant details regarding the concern.

3. Texas Estate Construction will review the request and schedule an inspection if necessary.

4. If the issue is determined to be covered under the workmanship warranty, repairs will be scheduled accordingly.

Warranty repairs will be performed within a reasonable timeframe based on project conditions and scheduling availability.
